Awarenurse is my Final Year Project (FYP) for my time in polytechnic. It is a 2D casual educational game that focuses on training new nurses for our clients: KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). The game not only aims to boost their situational awareness in the hospital, but also reinforcing knowledge that they have already learnt through lighthearted and experimental minigames

Since this is my FYP, I'm am very happy and grateful to say that I am extremely proud of myself and my teammates for how this project turned out. Working on a heavily client based project like this made me realize and learn how important it is to have good communication between parties. I learnt how to negotiate with clients and compromise on what can and can't be done during a certain time frame. I also really enjoyed that what we were making would make a difference to other's lives and that really pushed my entire team to strive for the best.

This project also really helped me up my programming and designing skills in general as there was a lot of things to consider. For programming it revolves mainly around having substantial and reusable code that is highly scalable so that other people can continue off from where we left. For design it was more about how to we balance the fun and educational aspect of the game.

Overall, I'm glad to say I really like how this game turned out and I hope that this game can benefit people who play it.
